Existing websites

An independent examination of the site you already have.

Build quality, speed, security, search position, ad spend, analytics, contracts and supplier arrangements. Findings and a ranked plan in three weeks, yours whether or not we work together.

None of this means anything has gone wrong. These are the ordinary consequence of a business growing faster than anyone’s time to check on it. Every one of them is answerable, and most are cheaper to answer than to keep wondering about.

Find the problems.

Prove them with evidence.

Propose the fixes.

Show why they’ll work.

Ten areas

What I take on so you don't have to: You won't need all ten. Establishing which two or three are costing you is the first thing the assay does.

Diagnosis

What you have, what it costs, and what’s actually working. One plain-language document at the end, yours outright.

Priorities & roadmap

A sequenced plan with cost and expected return against each item — including what to stop.

Website & platform

Replace, repair, or leave alone for another year. Answered honestly, before anyone quotes.

Conversion & customer journey

Where people give up between a click and a sale. Fixing the leaks before you spend more filling the bucket.

Search

Whether SEO deserves your money, and whether what you’re paying now has produced anything.

Paid media

What’s converting, what’s cannibalising organic, and what’s simply activity.

Measurement

Tracking that measures what the business cares about. Then one page a month you’ll genuinely read.

Agencies & suppliers

Quotes reviewed before you sign, and your domains, hosting, code and accounts held in your name.

Technical foundations

Hosting, backups and uptime sized against what a day offline would cost you.

Translation & judgement

Plain explanations, and a second opinion before you sign anything hard to reverse.

The assay, step by step

What the first three weeks look like

Fixed fee, agreed before we start. If it becomes clear you don’t need the full thing, I’ll stop and bill you for what was done.

Week 1

Gather

Access to the site, the hosting, the ad accounts and the analytics. Supplier contracts and twelve months of digital invoices. A conversation with you, and short ones with whoever else touches any of it.

You provide → access and paperwork. Everything else is on me

Week 2

Examine

The site — build, speed, security, mobile, conversion paths. The spend — every channel against what it returned. The search position. The analytics, checked for whether they’ve been telling you the truth. The contracts, checked for what you own.

Findings logged as I go, with anything urgent flagged the day I find it

Week 3

Report

One document written for you rather than for a technical reader: what’s working, what’s wasted, what’s at risk, and a ranked plan with cost and expected return against each item. Then a working session to walk you through it.

You keep → the findings, the plan and the register, yours outright
